So I'm studying all about tea for one of my dissertations, which means I've been able to have a very good excuse of trying teashops and tearooms. I used to think I was a big tea lover, tea obsessed, but since doing this project I was no where near, I hadn't tried loose leaf tea, or many flavours So far I've tried Yunnan, Assam, Lemon Ginger, they are just the very few out of hundreds I need to try.

we all have our ambitions - again today i seem to come up with a list in my mind and try my best to narrow that down further by prioritising and which are realistic for now.. i don't think trying to read all three books today was realistic but its worth aiming high.

So for those of you that every now and then have a look at my blog, I think you've established I'm not a writer - I'm a creative.. I've taken away all my posts from the first year of uni and starting a fresh..starting a blog that I actually want to maintain..

This summer, as well as finding the perfect beauty cabinet, I'm also defining my own sense of style and aiming to hopefully gain a six pack as well as working, freelance designing and actually doing uni summer work.. I'm pretty obsessed when it comes to looking at style, I've bought several books that i have found fascinating - I love your style - Amanda Brooks & The little black book of style - Nina Garcia, which have been so inspiring, but i'm still ordering more style books. As well as creating mood boards in search of myself knowing exactly what my sense of style is. You see these books suggest 'you ought to own a Birkin, a mens tailored shirt, a trench coat, loafers basically all the classics - which is all lovely, but depends if these do suit you and your style. These are fashionable staples, but not everyones. Also the style books emphasis about not being fashion victims. fashion victims being - those that follow trends religiously... the key is to pick out pieces of trends that you like and suit you.. almost a subtle nod to a recent trend.  heres my inspiration and an inclination to my personal style.

so its my birthday in two days and i be will twenty! in the words of the courtneers I'm not nineteen forever and i need to pull myself together. I have a small obsession with Hummingbird Bakery cakes ever since i tried my first one with my friend in South Kensington. I have the recipe book so today i decided today was the day i'd have a go. the only issues was that i hadn't any white wine vinegar (but malt worked just fine), and there was lumps of butter in my icing. Not bad for my first attempt - i've always said it would be second after fashion/graphic design.

Happy Easter everyone! - hope your enjoying the chocolate, hot cross buns and sunday roasts. I woke up to this little bag at my side. One thing I have learnt from my mum - 'is the little things that matter' the whole idea of you've actually thought of that person and shown that they mean something to you - just by doing something so small that appears so massively big.
